Sweater Weather - Seasonal Blend

Regular price $18.50 Sale

Tasting Notes: Nutty, Caramel Apple, Milk Chocolate
Roast Level 04: Medium/Dark

Blend Components: Brazil Vila Boa + Peru Machu Picchu

Leaves that burst into a firestorm of auburns and yellows, chilly mornings, friends gathered fireside - this is fall. Sweater Weather is a comforting blend crafted to harness all the fall vibes while the temperatures slowly cool off and eventually allow you to slip into your favorite, old sweaters. This year is featuring a 60/40 blend of Brazil and Peru coffees that allude to subtle nutty notes alongside milk chocolate and caramel apples.

This duo of coffees creates the perfect pairing. The smooth and sweet chocolate base from our friend Monica Borges de Sousa in Brazil, alongside the pecan-like and apple pop from Machu Picchu in Peru, create this dynamic duo of flavors that form a taste profile reminding us of hangs by a campfire in your most cozy sweater.

We recommend you enjoy this blend piping hot straight from a French press or a classic, rich batch brew.

Cold Brew Instructions:

  1. Start with freshly roasted coffee.
  2. Grind coarse. Think French Press grind or just note 'Coarse' when purchasing online.
  3. Add a 1:4 coffee to filtered water ratio. (1/4 cup coffee: 1 cup water)
  4. Stir grounds and water together. Make sure all the coffee grounds are entirely saturated.
  5. Cover container and place in fridge for 12-18 hours.
  6. Filter grounds from coffee with a paper coffee filter. Drain coffee into new container.

Now you have coffee cold brew concentrate. You can drink this straight, add water, or cut with your milk. We would suggest adding up to 1-part water to 1-part cold brew coffee depending on your taste preference and serve over ice. It’s smooth and easy to drink. Make it overnight and you’ll be set for all your summer adventures.

Keep refrigerated. Enjoy within 7 days.

Autumn Favorite

This year 's Sweater Weather blends two of my favorite coffees from Yield. The medium/dark roast is rich and warming, perfect for cooler mornings. I recently brought it along on a camping trip and everyone loved it. We brew it using a French press or a Breville Grind and Brew coffee maker. It works well with both.

Never enough

I ordered 2 packages of the 12oz beans...I had to order more in less that 14 days...this time I ordered the 5 lbs. Bag....maybe it will last longer? But in all honesty I will cry when this seasonal blend goes away. It is hands down my favorite coffee ever, it doesn't hurt to drink (I am on a low acid diet and most coffee hurts), flavorful, and has a wake me up in the morning aroma. If you love coffee you should buy this one.
