The land's natural environment is perfect for producing specialty coffee. With elevations ranging from 965m to 1208m, Fazenda Vila Boa has an area of 378 hectares with many different varieties of coffee, including this yellow bourbon, as well as others including red bourbon, topaz, arara, and geisha.
Vila Boa has grown to produce many different processed coffees, with an average production of 10,000 bags per year. The farm is Rainforest Alliance certified (meaning it meets strict environmental and social standards) and Carbon Positive (meaning it removes more carbon from the atmosphere than it emits).

Great coffee
I order coffee from all over the world and Yield Brazil is one of my favorites. I always have this roast on hand alongside from other domestically roasted beans. Roasted out of Ohio, very few roaster can achieve the well rounded notes and balanced flavor profiles that Yield has consistently delivered. I typically order from 4-5 roasters a month and Yield Brazil is a favorite when we have guests.
Brazil, along with Sweater Weather and Honduras, are my favorites. I was out, though, so I needed to order more. All three are great tasting (they've got that chocolate taste) and make that first cup of coffee in the morning a special one!
